The standard turbo 2.3L 4-cylinder provides 300 horsepower, while moving up to the available 3.0L twin-turbo V6 brings a muscular 400 horsepower. The standard 10-speed automatic transmission helps maximize fuel efficiency. When properly equipped, this family SUV can tow trailers up to 5,600 pounds – enough for a camper or boat.
2024 Ford Explorer Interior & Technology
The Explorer cabin combines functionality with available luxury features like leather trim and ambient lighting. The standard 8-inch touchscreen runs Sync 3 infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.
